2008 Fair Trade Holiday Festival

FTHF

Dear Friends,

Big changes are underway for Madison's 2008 Fair Trade Holiday Festival.

We're moving to Monona Terrace!   This will give us more space than we've ever had before, and we expect the new venue to draw more potential customers, especially since it will be just next door to the Dane County Winter Farmers Market, in the Exhibition Hall.

With the larger space, domestic fair traders will join international fair trade vendors at this year's festival.  Domestic fair trade has been growing in the U.S., and Madison and the upper Midwest have been core to this movement.  Look forward to not only great products from Afghanistan, East Timor, and El Salvador, but also soaps, cheese, and wool from our own community.

So, save the date and time - Saturday, December 6, 2008 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
