Fair Trade Holiday FestivalMadison Fair Trade Town

Madison because a Fair Trade Town in April 2010, due to the leadership of the University of Wisconsin-Madison student group WisPIRG Fair Trade and the support of many local organizations and businesses.

Since 1997, CALA has sponsored what has become the biggest and oldest fair trade shopping event in the United States! Over 50 vendors of gifts from around the world now participate in this annual event, typically held the first Saturday in December. Join us and tell your friends that it is a great place for holiday shopping for art, crafts, clothing, home decorations, pottery, weavings, food gifts, and more from Latin America, Africa, Asia, the Middle East ... and Wisconsin!
